The 510/eGo ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
This is the most highly recommended model for new users. The 510/eGo runs MUCH hotter than any other electronic cigarette available, which has its pros and cons.
PROS: Taste and feel resembles a tobacco cigarette more closely than any other e-cig available. Highest vapor production of any medium-sized electronic cigarette. Warmer vapor for those who enjoy the taste and feel of heat. Manual battery option.
CONS: Shorter atomizer/battery life and resultant higher cost of use - using so much electricity puts a strain on the parts and reduces useful life to about half of other electronic cigarettes. Juice Hog - it really burns through the liquid. The heat also causes a reduction in the flavor of whatever liquid you are using.
The 510 and the eGo are the same basic model - the difference is the batteries. The 510 has smaller batteries, while the eGo has huge batteries. The atomizers and cartridges are interchangeable, but the 510 cartomizers are too short to use with eGo unless the cone is removed (which looks pretty ugly). Also, the chargers are not interchangeable.

We've been seeing a few fried chipboards in the batteries lately, and it has been the exact chip the manufacturer warns will be destroyed by use of the wrong charger. Use of incorrect charger/battery combinations will destroy the Q1 chip in the board, and will VOID your myPVshop.com warranty.
We are now carrying FS 510/eGo's in addition to the Genuine Joye 510/eGo's. Although the FS products are not Genuine Joye products, we have found a manufacturer of good quality products at VERY good prices. You can expect about 80-90% performance out of the FS products compared to the Genuine Joye products.
FS 5-SECOND BATTERY CUTOFF:
The current batch of FS products all have a 5-second safety cutoff on the batteries. The manufacturer includes this safety feature on all their products to meet European certification standards. For most users this presents no problems, but some users like to take extremely long draws and this can be a pain in the rear because you have to release and press the button again.
We specified all shipments to us were supposed to have a 10-second cutoff, but they sent us Euro models by mistake. That's one reason we were able to negotiate the Rebate and offer such an excellent bargain on these initial kits. Once we go through the 5-second kits, the Special Pricing will end.

Cartomizers are a great way to try new flavors without having to use a separate atomizer. They're also good for portability - you can carry a few cartomizers instead of a bottle of liquid.
They won't last near as long as an atomizer, but they are a cost-effective alternative due to the low price.
The Joye and the FS cones are interchangeable. The FS cone is flared and has a slightly larger opening to work with cartomizers. Some cartomizers WILL NOT fit inside the Joye cone.
If you're sitting at a desk all day, a passthrough can save time, money, and hassles by reducing your amount of battery use and charging by a significant margin.
Charging cases are a great way to keep your 510 safe (and always fully charged!) and help prevent accidental loss, too!
